Tāmata Toiere Tohu

Te Ara Pūoro

Playing with the wavelengths of music, I’ve crafted a bespoke design featuring varied levels and vibrations of musical notes. You can also see in the design that it resembles the shape of a pūtōrino or female case-moth flute of Hineraukatauri.
The use of haehae (carved parallel ridges) and pakati (notching) intricately portrays these musical currents.
